Degree in medicine and surgery with 70/70 cum laude. Postgraduate training in orthopaedics and trauma with 70/70 cum Laude. Hand surgery and microsurgery with 70/70 cum laude. 

Personal skills and competences Hand surgery, microsurgery, prosthesis surgery of the upper limb, shock wave therapy (clinical and experimental applications) and tissue engineering. 

Scientific work: Over 40 scientific articles published in national and international journals. 

Extracorporeal shockwave therapy Head of Shock Wave Therapy, Department of Surgery, Orthopedic, Trauma and Micro-Surgery of the University of Naples Federico II. Experience in the use of shock waves in orthopaedics since 1991. Founding Member and President of the Italian Society of Shock Wave Therapy (SITOD) (President in 2006). Founding member of the International Society for Medical Shockwave Therapy (ISMST) (President in 2009). Senator for life of SMST.
